Krohawk2 Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Any one familiar with this model? Is this new or old?
SouthpawGuy Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Maybe a dealer custom ordered 555 with block inlays, looks like it has an ebony board. I notice it also has HRWs and D-VIP. Love the headstock binding and inlay, very nice touch ! I'm guessing it has locking tuners to go with the Bigsby and graphite nut ?
MartyGrass Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 I wonder if that's the one they were working on last summer.
pegleg32 Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Almost too pretty to play. Makes me think of Marilyn Monroe for some wierd reason.
GuitArtMan Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Almost too pretty to play. Makes me think of Marilyn Monroe for some wierd reason. Ya, but you'd play with Marilyn. If you know what I mean...
brentrocks Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 i saw that guitar at Heritage last summer....i think it was a custom order from Wolfe
MartyGrass Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Almost too pretty to play. Makes me think of Marilyn Monroe for some wierd reason. Marilyn was tougher than you might think. Go ahead, play with her. (Like I have experience.)
Gitfiddler Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Marilyn was tougher than you might think. Go ahead, play with her. (Like I have experience.) Isn't it time to change your avatar to MM?
NoNameBand Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 I think it's one of the most beautiful guitars I've ever seen.
MartyGrass Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Isn't it time to change your avatar to MM? Will Ann-Margret do?
TalismanRich Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Hmmm. I wonder if they practiced on Tulk's guitar before they finished that one. Or maybe they did a few together. I remember somebody saying they weren't planning to do any more white guitars. The Dove looks like a 555 with headstock inlay and bigsby to me!
MartyGrass Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Isn't it time to change your avatar to MM? It should have been Catherine Deneuve, but she's still sore at me after breaking up. So is that Kidman lady.
MartyGrass Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Isn't it time to change your avatar to MM? And of course there's the immortal vamp, Heddy Lamarr. Here she is as Delilah, about to make short work of Samson. Heddy is viewed by many as the sexiest actress of the cinema ever. But she declined my request to be our Heritage Girl.
skydog52 Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 If you want to talk about curves. Here you go.
Gitfiddler Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 how did this turn into a boob-fest? Don't look at ME!! I'm still afeared of Koula's Wrath!!
pegleg32 Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 I think MM may have been a little too high strung for me.

Maybe you should have asked HEDLEY LAMARR! ... and what has this got to do with the DOVE?
yoslate Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 It should have been Catherine Deneuve, but she's still sore at me after breaking up. So is that Kidman lady. Duh nerve of you, posting this....
Guest HRB853370 Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Any one familiar with this model? Is this new or old? Yes, a fellow that sold me a Heritage told me he had that very guitar and was keeping it. He never showed me a pic of it, but described it exactly as that photo!!!
tulk1 Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 I'm rather fond of White H555s ... now. That looks to be an Upper West Side cousin to mine.
NoNameBand Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 If you want to talk about curves. Here you go. She is 70 and still looks great.
