Patrick Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 I do apologize . . . . I just love the top and the shading on this 150 so much, I wanted to post a photo
koula901 Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 That IS a stunner, Patrick. Does yellow on the selector switch mean anything special?

Patrick Posted January 31, 2011 Author Posted January 31, 2011 That IS a stunner, Patrick. Does yellow on the selector switch mean anything special? No. It was molded in that color to look somewhat aged. That's what they're doing on the R9s too.
FredZepp Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 That one just screams of that Kalamazoo craftsmanship that we all love so much. And yes, super nice, tight flame on that one.
golferwave Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 That's a near perfect top. Almond sunburst is one of my favorite Heritage finishes.
schundog Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Nice one, Patrick. If I ever end up with a 150, it will be similar to that one.
mtpatty Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 that's one sweet H150! Perfect top- who could blame you- show her off!

Gitfiddler Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Patrick, that 150's top is "Best Of The Burst" approved.
Kuz Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Like everyone has said.... Gorgeous ridiculous 150 !!!!
MartyGrass Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Well, I've seen worse! Very, very nice. It's amazing to reflect on the process just to get the wood for a top like that.
Patrick Posted January 31, 2011 Author Posted January 31, 2011 Well, I've seen worse! Very, very nice. It's amazing to reflect on the process just to get the wood for a top like that. Ya see . . . here's the thing Mark, these guys knew, when they were making this guitar in 2005, that I would probably buy it used in 2010. Realizing that, and knowing what a major league PIA I am, they took extra care to do it just right
NoNameBand Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Looks good Patrick. I'm right behind you and should have this 150 in show shape soon.
chico Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Man... beautiful. And, I appreciate seeing the comparison shots of the light v dark ALSB.
kbp810 Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 No need to appologize... keep on flaunting away!
Guido Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Patrick that is a killer looking H150!!!!! Congrats
H Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Our Lords and Masters at Parsons Street never cease to amaze me. What a beautiful thing they can make from an old bit of tree. Stunning, Patrick, stunning.
