602a Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Looks good too. They have a sound all their own. Congrats
Hfan Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Glad it worked out. I love my 157, seems to be the Heritage I play the most. Are those Schallers in yours?
fxdx99 Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Cool, Steve. Yeh, agree w/602 - Lookin' good, too. Especially w/the Patriot.
FredZepp Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 There is a magic to those black 157's . Tone, Playability , and Looks, they have it all. Mine has been the "go to" guitar on the stand lately.....
Heritage525 Posted February 3, 2011 Author Posted February 3, 2011 The 157 has such a sweet clean tone through the Patriot, I kick on the bright channel with the neck pup (Schallers) and it just sparkles. I use my Fulltone Fulldrive 2 for some nice overdrive, sounded soo nice!
schundog Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 That gold over black is very classy looking. What kind of stuff do you guys play? Looks like you are in a nice hotel ballroom.
Heritage525 Posted February 3, 2011 Author Posted February 3, 2011 We were at a very nice hotel ballroom . . . playing a cocktail party for the U.S. Rice and Cotton growers association, 600 people, great gig! We do zydeco, classic rock, cajun, bluesy kinda stuff.

We do zydeco, classic rock, cajun, bluesy kinda stuff. Love all those styles, just watched "American Roots Music: Episodes 3&4" from the library. great background stuff on Zydeco, Cajun, Blues++. I want to move to Louisiana, told the wife, didn't fly. Also agree about the 157 clean through your patriot. Been playing mine w Schallers clean through my old Twin. I'm loving that pure tone. Actually been buying pedals lately to play around with, but they've been sitting.
