jjkrause84 Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Wow....I really don't know what to say....that looks AMAZING! How's she sound? Can you really hear the difference between a Millie and 150?
tulk1 Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Loves me the Millies. It's so funny how they like to follow people home. They're just like that, so sweet and cuddly. And John -- oh yeah! You can def hear the difference between a Millie (semi-solid) vs a 150 (solid). It kinda has some of the characteristics of both types guitars (semi vs solid). Neat mix.
Gitfiddler Posted February 6, 2011 Author Posted February 6, 2011 Wow....I really don't know what to say....that looks AMAZING! How's she sound? Can you really hear the difference between a Millie and 150? The sound? Let me put it this way...If a 150 and 535 ever conceived a love child, this would be it. The tone's from the 155 Millie are somewhere in between the two. I've not been able to get a bad tone from it!
jjkrause84 Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 That's great! I couldn't do the single-cutaway version (playing my roommate's Les Paul taught me that) but the double cutaway looks killer (even if I'd prefer it without 'F' holes for the stealth factor).

fxdx99 Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Wow - that is one beautiful top/finish. And w/Seths... phew, great score. Congrats.
tulk1 Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 This followed me home. I think I'll keep it. (2004 N.O.S. Millenium 155, Almond Sunburst, w/Seths) I'm not a huge fan of gold hardware on guitars. But I really like the way the gold sits in the burst on this one. It's a good match!!
