cwthompson Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 I am the proud new owner of a 2006 H575. I bought it sight over the internet and it is everything I hoped it would be except the chrome "H" style tailpiece has some staining that I can't clean. I'd like to get a new replacement tailpiece. Does anyone know if Heritage has a parts department? I emailed them a few days ago but haven't heard back. Any suggestions. Thanks. BTW, this is my first Heritage and I love it!
Steiner Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Hi CW - welcome to the collective; you will be assimilated... I don't believe Heritage can get the "H" tailpiece any longer. They no longer offer it. BUT - you might try calling them early tomorrow around *AM - long before the crack of noon for they may have some around. The 575 is a stellar guitar! It provides a large stepping-stone toward gathering a vast Heritage collection. Let us know how you turn out on your quest. In the interim, porn of new heritages helps us all fuel our GAS and is always a good way to introduce yourself.
kbp810 Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Congrats on the new Heritage acquisition and please do post some pics when you get a chance, we love us some 575 porn!
H Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Hi, welcome to the HOC and congratulations on your new 575 If you can't locate a tailpiece another option is to have it rechromed. It's not as expensive as you might think.
