...all in the hands of a man that still can't quite get the hang of recording! Well, actually I have a really good idea on what I need to do to get some good sounding clips, I just haven't done it yet ;)

I did a lot of fussing around, changing settings, changing volume and mic placement, tons of takes, and then I just plain gave up and threw in the towel!

Still some clipping and dropouts going on, as well as moments where I was a little too focused on watching the meter instead of what I was playing... but here are the best three clips I could muster up:

Gimme Three Steps

Let it Ride

All Right, nice work.. it's hard to put yourself out there..

could I volunteer to play rhythm for you at psp1v.

Indeed I do find it to be tough! It's amazing how much focus can be lost on playing just by simply hitting the record button

...and that's aside from the fuss of trying to balance getting the best tone from the amp yet keeping a volume level that the current setup could reasonably still capture.

I'm picking up a proper interface for the mic's as well as a new laptop that can better handle recording software sometime in the near future... though I probably could have made the whole thing a lot easier on myself and just picked up one of those Olympus Recorders that Brent uses :P

Brian, just drive over to brents, then you will have a back up band as well. And possibly some Bells!
