donnie Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Well guys I guess I could just wait another day or two and find out firsthand but thought I'd try here. You know how hard the waiting part is! I think Graham told me the frets were med-jumbos but I'm not 100% sure and I hate to hassle him again for the umpteenth time. Can anyone enlighten me? I just remember that my old one was very playable but best I can remember it was probably a late '90's model. Thanks!
Kuz Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 I don't recall seeing, reading, or hearing that Heritage changed the size of their frets. So I would be willing to bet they are the same size as your old Heritage. BTW, I think Heritage uses the perfect size frets.... not speed bumps and not too vintage small.
tbonesullivan Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 They probably already use med-jumbo frets. One thing that can effect playability though is how they shape/dress the frets. I know that gibson tends to use the "schoolbus" shape on their guitars, which some people find annoying.
