When it does, I will put pics up! Fedex must be behind today. Spectrum, you need glasses. Thats a wine red Eastwood they have over their at MGR. And at $399 its a steal (if you want an import).
brentrocks Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 you need to go stand in the middle of the road and flag them down!!!
FredZepp Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 These red semi-hollows always bring to mind Claptons Cream/Blind Faith red 335. And that's a good thing. The folks in Kalamazoo have been making some incredible semis for a long time now.
mark555 Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 I'm sure it looks fantastic... Nice guitar to have, congrats.
Guest HRB853370 Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 OK, it arrived today safely. The touch up that he did on the F hole (I guess when he installed the new electronics) is rough. Its only an inch or so long, but it is noticeable. The rest of the guitar is pretty flawless. He disclosed everything to me and the pics he had up on TGP accurately reflected the touch up. But once I saw it, I quickly decided that I would want it professionally repaired. Should I enlist Heritage to do this, or should I find a pro locally? Will put up pics very soon-but not tonite!!
koula901 Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Glad it arrived safely, Will. Now you can move forward on it.
MartyGrass Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Let's see the f hole damage. If you can do it locally to your liking, I'd suggest that. It would be quicker and save shipping.

Marty, attached is a photo of the inch long touch up the previous owner did. I contacted a local professional guitar repair person, and he told me he tries to stay away from repairing finishes as they are a more of a pain than they are worth, and no real way to assess the time required, therefore difficult to price out. He recommended a site called www.reranch.com where they sell the supplies to do the repairs, provide guidance and even a forum (similar to HOC).
