Guest HRB853370 Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Here are three thousand words....... I like that red one very much Lyle, especially the pickguard! What year is it and what kind of pups you got in it?
kbp810 Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 I see three pictures each with three guitars... that's 9,000 words! That is a might fine looking trio you have yourself there!
Hfan Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Your three beauties are well..beauties. A question: what is the guitar whose neck is shown in the poster? When your 1st picture started to down load I thought it was one of your collection for a moment.
Patrick Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Here are three thousand words....... If I may step in and answer hfan's question . . .that's a picture of an American Eagle. A very limited run of a very special guitar. Kind of a tribute to America guitar with some pretty over the top patriotic appointments. I've played 2 of them. The first was owned by collector Wayne Wesley Johnson. I played it at his home in Northern NJ . . along with about 80 of his other guitars. Wayne is quite an interesting man. I also played Jim Deurloo's personal American Eagle when I was at the plant back in '94 choosing the wood package for my custom Golden Eagle. They were nice guitars, but specifically designed to be in a collection and not a gigging guitar. VERY expensive!!!
LK155 Posted February 21, 2011 Author Posted February 21, 2011 I like that red one very much Lyle, especially the pickguard! What year is it and what kind of pups you got in it? Will, 1996. An eBay find from a couple of months ago. The nicest of the three. Seth Lovers. And a label signed by all the owners, and Ren.
LK155 Posted February 22, 2011 Author Posted February 22, 2011 And to answer the question nobody asked, here's what they sound like........ H155: http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=9839163 H535: http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=10022620 Sorry, nothing recorded with the H137 yet. Someday.........
Assumer Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Man, I keep coming back to look at the 155. The guitar I should have never sold.
skydog52 Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Three beauties for sure. I love the Seth Lovers.
mark555 Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Lyle, I'd be proud to own just one of those, but as I play a 555, I think the Millie would be the next one, but all three are just fabulous, each one superb in it's own right. And a cherry 535, just classy. Thanks for showing us those pictures.
