I'm a little ashamed of myself, but really excited...

It was about two weeks ago when I renewed my association with Heritage guitars and posted pics of my new Faded trans cherry 25th Ann. H535 I just got from Graham at Wolfe Guitars. It's so far all I hoped it would be, and more. But although I really sought out the color (it wasn't an impulse) I knew I'd want a wood-toned one sooner or later. So I called Graham up and asked him to be on the lookout for a nice used one. My old '98 H535 was Almond Sunburst and that would have been my first pick. Well then, I discovered The Prospect and really got jazzed up on one of those. I'd love a 150 but my back and neck just can't take it anymore. So anyway, I'm perusing the Wolfe website today and what do you think I see? Here's a hint:

This one is in their TN store so I call Graham to see what they had in Jupiter. I had such a great experience with Graham I wanted him to personally set up and pack anything I might buy. When he asked Jay what they might have coming in I heard Jay tell him he had just been in Brentwood and seen one of the nicest Prospect's he'd ever seen. I just happened to have it up in front of me while he said that and that's all it took. Jay will personally bring it back to Jupiter on Sunday the 13th and Graham will set it up and pack it on Monday. Guess I'll have it around Weds. the 16th or the next day.

I'll post real pics when it comes in if I don't explode first, but here's the link to it: http://www.gbase.com/gear/heritage-prospect-2011-almond-sunburst#

I seriously think I might need professional help. Is there a 12 step program for this sort of thing?

Now THAT is some Heritage porn. :icon_tongue:

I always liked the idea of the Prospect, it makes sense.

It seems like if they could put one of those in every music store in America, guitar players would be forever converted to Heritage. Those will cover a lot of tones.

(We haven't had much luck with the 12 step program here.... There is always one more to desire. :glasses10: )

Woah! Is that flamed maple or is the top of that guitar on fire!!!! :o

For some here the 12 step program means buying another Heritage at least once per month (not mentioning any names... BRENT!!!! :P )

Have I also ever mentioned that Brent is my hero?

Yeah I have to say it knocked me out. If you follow the link to Wolfe's site and look at the back I think it might even be flamier. It almost comes off looking a little quilted.

Like I say, I'll try to get up better pics when she arrives.

Think Step 1 is to stop visiting the HOC site...

Beautiful Prospect by the way.

SWEET!! You are on a roll... But don't let that bad back and neck slow you down; you NEED some solid-bodies; 150LW (light weight) 170s, and 140s are good, lighter choices. I'm just trying to enable, er, um, I mean HELP you! hahhaaa!!

Beautiful!

Graham selling Heritages is just not fair. He could sell ice to Inuits and he represents a product that can sell itself.

Big fan of the Prospect right here! As long time members can attest to. My favorite Heritage model.

Git, the Prospects are laminate top, so yeah, 1 piece top kinda sorta. :rolleyes_mini:

OMG, what a beautiful guitar! Enjoy!

You are in the wrong place here if you want a 12 step programme, we have all abandoned hope and are just a bunch of lushes...

Nice guitar by the way, congratulations on that one. Jay Wolfe seems to be our favourite supplier here on the HOC, and that's for England as well!
