Here's a very unusual H550. The more I've played it, the more I like it.

 

It's 18"! I don't know why it was built that large, but it does suck up all the oxygen in the room.

 

It is feedback resistant and has a very nice wood tone to it due to the large hollowness and the Seth pup.

 

25.5" scale. The MIDI works well.

There it is... nice one to see again, Marty. How thick is that H550? ..

 

It is a Looker, for sure!

 

 

It's less than two inches.

 

I pulled the Seth off of it a few days ago during a string change to see what I could see. The top is laminated (no surprise) but thicker than I expected.
