blues
Hi guys, After several years of buying and selling guitars ive had my heritage a year now. The honeymoon phase has been over for a while now. I can now say that I still feel as great about my heritage as the day I got it. In over 30 years of playing and many guitars ive only felt this way of about 3 guitars. They are the ones that got away. At this time im only able to have one guitar,my 137 fits the bill for sure. Just wanted to start a thread in appreciation to heritage guitars. Whats everyones thoughts on your heritages? How to they stand up with your other guitars? Thanks

smurph1
Hey Blues..Funny you should bring this subject up..I was playing my P-90 equipped Les Paul "special" this morning and enjoying the hell out of it..But when it comes right down to it, I'll always choose my 535 because it does so many things so well..Heritage Rocks!! I just left the local Guitar Center an hour ago, they had a 60's tribute Les Paul which is just a faded studio model with P-90's. Sounded good, action was too high, and had a barely finished appearence. My newly acquired Heritage H-140 may be old and beat up, but it felt so much better than that fresh from the factory LP. Kmenne
Working from home today (all family members gone!!). Just came upstairs from 30 minutes of noodling with my 150 (acquired 2 weeks ago used). Hooked up my epi valve jr and celestion ext cab, put the zen drive in between and was in heaven!!! I have not had a guitar this nice since the 70's when I owned a "real" 335. This Heritage guitar sounds great plugged into my computer based rig, my little amp rig, and even without any amplification. Got to get a bit of work done, then head back down stairs before the kids get home from school. Peace Keith
