MartyGrass
Lance, I have two HBs with a Phat Cat in the middle. The Phat Cat was a no brainer I never regretted. I put in Schallers for the HBs. That was a gamble that worked out very well. Also, I like the appearance of the pup set. What will you do with the TP holes? I'm keenly interested in how you do the wiring. There are several possibilities, all with trade-offs. What are your thoughts?

I will be doing the frampton wiring ie a volume for each pup, with a master tone, regular LP three throw. I'm thinking two of these and one of these (lollar p-90) or bridge (rio grande crunch box) mid, rio grande fat bastard neck, rio grande genuine texas humbucker, one set low output, one set high gain.. Hard choice
MartyGrass
My wiring is a little different. The Phat Cat volume is push-pull to turn it off and on.

NoNameBand
Lance, cool top. I'm excited with you at the prospects of the new version. Stay with until you are happy, it will be worth it in the end regardless of the time spent.

conorb
I would leave it as is rather than continuing with more nitro and refinishing. Embrace the patina. conorb
