kbp810 Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 I thought I would start another pics thread. Was taking some pics and got some new ones. That's a mighty fine looking plank of wood you've got there!
skydog52 Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Damn thats nice skydog52 Thanks man. Custom made by my man at 225 Parsons St. Kzoo... Marvelous Marvin Lamb
Guest HRB853370 Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Here's a slab of Korina Skydog, still have your blueburst 555? If so, put it up!
skydog52 Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Skydog, still have your blueburst 555? If so, put it up! If you insist. This lady has a nice backside!
schundog Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Photos of my "plank," the H137, don't do it justice; too hard to show off well. I'll try to get some better pics. In the meantime, here's my 2001 H-155 Millenium. Here's the best one I have on hand of the 137; In person, the yellow finish is very thin, and the guitar almost seems to show some green in the finish. Sweet, thick, neck, and rockin' Lollar P90s.
blues Posted March 16, 2011 Author Posted March 16, 2011 Great pics guys. I have the same problem as you schundog my pics dont do my 137 justice either.
H Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 An old pic of my 170; it now has TonePros bridge and tailpiece.
skydog52 Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Baaaaa..... Now that's what I call a beautiful work of nature. Nice backside!
kbp810 Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Ah what the heck... here's the blue H150 once again
blues Posted March 16, 2011 Author Posted March 16, 2011 Lots of nice pics in this tread. Btw I changed the speed knobs on mine to bell knobs and put pointer washers on too. For better pics of my 137 checkout the Heritage website. My guitar is the same guitar shown on thier website.
zguitar71 Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Well it is not a Heritage but it was made in Kalamazoo and is a very interesting guitar. 1981 Gibson V2
DetroitBlues Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Well it is not a Heritage but it was made in Kalamazoo and is a very interesting guitar. 1981 Gibson V2 Like to see how they wound those bobbins....
zguitar71 Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 I read somewhere that the pickups which are single coils are shaped like a v under the caps. They are more like 2 short single coils one for the lower 3 strings and the other for the higher 3 strings. They are also suppesed to be very hot something like 9.5K or more resistance. I can also tell you that they sound horrible, very muddy and the guitar is not fun to hold either. I love it but it is not something I play often, it mostly just hangs on the wall.
