DetroitBlues Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 I could swear Brent had that guitar at one time. But I could be wrong.... If its true, I did lust for it for a few hours... what guitar hasn't he had....There have been more Heritages passing through Brents hands then some of the dealers...
BrianToth Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 I owned an H-137 and I own a Prospect with Fralin P-92s..essentially noiseless P-90s. For your application I would strongly recommend the 525. You're not going to get that "woody" sound out of a 137. You might have to work on your stage positioning to keep it from feeding back but that's not hard to do. The 137 is an absolute killer rock guitar, but it's pretty tough to get it to do anything else well, which is why I sold mine.
DetroitBlues Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 I won't be playing any Jazz stuff, but I found that a semi-hollow body works great for blues and rock.

ladhilbluesband Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 Well I have my eye on a 525.... I just need to buck up and pull the trigger on it. It's a dark cherry or brown burst. Very great looking guitar. Can't wait!
