Kuz Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 I never should have sold a guitar back to a dealer awhile ago. Instead of buying a dedicated Jazz amp, I traded my '57 Tweed Deluxe and some extra scratch to the dealer to get it back!!! I was lucky it was still available! What is better than ONE, well TWO of course!!!! Great to have this baby back in the stable.
H Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Is this going to be one of those riddle-style threads of yours again, Kuz?
Kuz Posted March 19, 2011 Author Posted March 19, 2011 Sweet 16 ftw. What is better than one, well two. I don't have one Sweet 16, unfortunately.

FredZepp Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 525... single bucker, split blocks ? Whoops... I was looking at the pic of the Sweet 16 there..
Patrick Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 What guitar? Will . . . you're precious man!! I can't wait to sit and have a few "pops" with ya. It'll only get better, I'm sure.
Kuz Posted March 19, 2011 Author Posted March 19, 2011 I am not going to continue to be an A$$, I promise I won't keep this up for long. But if two is better than one.... Well... -I already have more than two 150s -I already have two Semis (a 555 Custom & a 535 P-90) -So gee, I only have one 525, one 575, and one Golden Eagle.... hmmm which one of these got a twin????
Kuz Posted March 19, 2011 Author Posted March 19, 2011 525... single bucker, split blocks ? Nope, never owned a previous 525, so that not it.
FredZepp Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 I can't remember.. guess.. 575.. ( hopefully whatever it is, I'll remember when I see it )
koula901 Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Kuz! I never knew a man with a pink guitar could be so coy!
Kuz Posted March 19, 2011 Author Posted March 19, 2011 Eagle soaring? Fly Like an Eagle, BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FredZepp Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 that certainly is a beauty... how long ago did you sell it? It looks like it would have a great acoustic tone also.
Patrick Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Fly Like an Eagle, BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn John . . . that's what I was going to guess. A blond Golden Eagle. Buy the way, that bridge base doesn't look at all too thin. What's the height of the bridge saddle compared to the new sharp cut a way GE?
skydog52 Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 I love it when a plan comes together. Beeeeeeeeeeeeeautiful!
Patrick Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Phew! That's some nice wood, Kuz! Curious choice of wording on that compliment . . . don't ya think?? OOPS!! I think my reputation meter might have just went down to -25.

One of the 1st things I do after I sign in is go and check out your reputation meter then check out the new posts that earned you the new -. You seemed to hang around -16 for a while. Good to see you got some momentum going again.

You seemed to hang around -16 for a while. Good to see you got some momentum going again. Yeah . . . I guess it's mostly the way some of my posts are interpreted . . . or more accurately misinterpreted. Take the above post to Katy for example . . just a little good nature tongue in cheek humor with no malicious intent. I'm sure it will be interpreted as such by the vast majority. But, some will say to themselves . . . "oh boy!! Patrick's stirring it up again". At this point, it's become a bit entertaining to me when I notice that some members presumptuously assess my posts as unacceptable. I really appreciate it when other members read my posts without reading anything into them except the message and its intent.
Kuz Posted March 19, 2011 Author Posted March 19, 2011 I will chime in and say... that sometimes Patrick likes to stir the pot and he enjoys that. Sometimes this will bring a misinterpreted negative opinion of him. There have been somethings where Patrick and I are on completely opposite sides of the tracks. BUT, I have gotten to know Patrick VERY well. I have reached out for his advice and opinions. In the risk of making his head swell bigger than those 18" arch tops of his, Patrick his been nothing but completely gracious and EXTREMELY helpful and unselfish. He spent a lot of time helping to research a number of questions I had with no gain for himself (and doing this anonymously, it was genuinely sincere with no pompous reputation building). Patrick will speak his point to a fault, and while I don't always agree, I do know that is how he truly feels (whether I agree with these direct comments can be at times a different matter... )

MartyGrass Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 It's even more curious when a guy uses it, don't you think? Now I'm lost. I shouldn't ask, should I? Uses what?
