Dasherdave Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Hi All, As a newbie to Heritage, I wanted to know what HRW stands for? I know they are the name of the Heritage in-house wound pickups, but what do the letters stand for? Is it Heritage Ren Wall?? Thanks for your help in advance. Cheers.
brentrocks Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Heritage Rendal Wall pickups There are rumors to what he does to them, but i dont know if anybody here REALLY knows? i love them and have them in 3 of my Heritages currently!!!!
DetroitBlues Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 All I know is if you send them your schaller pup's, they'll change them into HRW's like they do today. Which reminds me, I replaced my Schallers with Seymour Duncan SH2 for neck and a JB for the bridge. The original Schallers are up for sale!

I just contacted Heritage about changing my Schallers to HRW's. They told me I have to send them the guitar. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what difference I will get switching to HRW's. The cost to change is about $300 with shipping so I'm a little leary of pulling the trigger without knowing what I'm going to get. How do HRW's compare to Seth Lovers?
brentrocks Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 HRWs are wax potted...Seths are not HRWs are a bit hotter too
