Hi,

I owned this model since more than 10 years and I hadn't found any real information on this model! I searched on the web but I'd never seen a similar model. It's a custom order I bought from a guitarshop's boss in France("Guitare Brothers" in Avignon) in 2000. This model is Piezo equipped but I don't know what are the pickups (sorry for my poor English vocabulary, I'm French Lol). If anyone could light me on specs, links...

Otherwise it sound and play fabulously and it's very beautiful!!!

Here is some pics and a video of me playing it with a little impro so you can hear that beautiful Heritage Guitar!

Welcome to the HOC, Swimix.

Love your playing... absolutely stellar.

I'm sure someone here will have more info on the SAE. They are not very common. You may find the pickup listed on the inside of the back cover, otherwise you will probably have to actually remove one to see what type it is. They most likely are Duncan since they only have on mounting screw per side. Schallers were also used, but have two screws per side.

Welcome to the HOC Ludovic! A very nice Heritage guitar. As Rich said, remove the back cavity cover and look for the Heritage decal on the backside of it. There should be model information there. I would guess you have Duncan 59 pickups. Let us know what you find.

First and foremost, welcome to the Heritage Owner's Club! This is a great, tight-knit group of people here, and I hope you enjoy being part of the community.

Second, Great playing, and great guitar! I really like the look of block inlays, too, and that is a unique Heritage you don't see too often. We love pics and clips, so keep 'em coming!

There was an elderly French Gentleman who was hard of hearing. Whenever a waiter asked him anything, his response was always "Mersault!!"

French wines and estate bottled guitars.... that's the stuff!

Not very clear picture but the first place I go on questions like this is to the catalogs in rjsanders album in the Gallery. Maybe he could share larger originals of the pages

BTW Very nice phrasing on the guitar

Is there a label inside the F hole? Should have some info on it. And welcome to the club. I can believe that is a custom order, never seen a Heritage like it.

Ok,

Firt, I would like to say a BIG thank you for your lovely words about my playing!!!

Secondly, I removed pickups and I discovered that they're Seymour '59, you are unbelievable specialists TalismanRich and Golferwave, all of you guess that was Duncan pickups!!

Thanks to Marsh_all for links.

However, there are big differences with mine(Block inlays, binding everywhere on the guitar...).

Those differencies are all consequencies to the "Custom Order"?!

That is the great thing about Heritage. They are one big custom shop. Just about anything they offer can be requested on your guitar. You have a very special Heritage guitar there so keep it and enjoy it!

Oh..I should say also that your playing is terrific! Great improv there..but I especially liked your ZZ Top intro...Have mercy, been waitin for the bus all day.

Beautiful guitar. Fantastic playing.

I am very curious about your set up on the video. Looks like you have a mixer or computer behind you. Could you describe your setup?

Thanks very much in advance!

Ok, so here is my setup: I have two signals, the line-playback from the computer and the guitaramp, miked with a Shure SM57. The 2 signals are going to a cheap Behringer mixing desk Eurorack MX602A. However the signal from the SM57 come across a Behringer Tube Ultragain Preamp T1953A before ending to the mixer. Line-out from the mixer (with the two signals) goes direct to a Zoom Q3 HD line input. The Q3 is recording everything at the same time. I don't use any recording program. That's all!

Inside the F hole, the label says: "SAE Custom Cherry", nothing else!

Thank you

It is real that they're some resemblance with the blueshawk!

I don't know if you see that in the vid or pics, but another difference with the listed SAE in the Heritage catalog, is that is not a rosewood fingerboard but an ebony one! So it's another pretty cool features on that model compared with the listed one...

Only for curiosity, somebody has an idea of the quotation of a model as this one?

I did notice that yours has the bound headstock and block inlays indicating an upscale model, but only the one is listed in the catalog that I found. I have seen one before with the features that yours has, it was a cherry sunburst and I came close to buying it.

always thought that model was kinda funny looking, but after seeing this video- it isn't so bad after all. maybe the ebony and the blocks and the extra binding really help. sounds wonderful, though. when you hit that first chord it sounds exactly like pearl jam; i thought you were going to play "alive".

thanks for taking the time to make a decent clip, the quality of the recording and the playing are great. welcome board.

Wow, what a cool guitar.

Thanks for sharing, I've never seen anything like that one before.
