peteraltongreen Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 You wouldn't by chance be the Peter Green from Fleetwood Mac would you? Sorry to disappoint you. No,not THE Peter Green, although I'm older,I really am called Peter Alton Green,as opposed to Peter Greenbaum of Fleetwood Mac.There are so many Peter Greens that play guitar ( there was even another Peter Green in one band I played in in 1964 ),I dropped the Green on Facebook, and just used Peter Alton. If you want a good laugh,go on those pages, look for the same logo as here, and there are loads of pictures of 60's-70's 80-'s etc bands, local to this area of England, including Mick Ronson,Trevor Bolder etc. There used to be lots musically going on.The picture here shows me in 1962,with my hands on the first Stratocaster I ever played ! Peter Alton Green.
Giorgio Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 I would seriously consider http://www.brierleyguitarpickups.com.au/ I put these in my H-150 instead of the original Duncans, and I'm very happy. Mick is also a great guy to deal with, and he will discuss options to get to the sound you want. The price is also quite good, I think.
peteraltongreen Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Peter, I for one would be interested in you thoughts on stop bar height. I've adjusted mine to be high. It makes for easier bends. That's about all I know though. I've just posted what I do in the Family Tree,'Over or Under' section, with photo's,which I've included here.Go there for my explanations.Thanks. Peter Alton Green
