strings Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 o.k, i bought my first heritage,535 classic , tastefully appointed (imo) in wine red. she's been around the block, but has all the right stuff where its needed. put a set of 11's on, makes her sing acoustically, as well as electrically, of course, i took her thru all the set up hoops, and she's paid me back for the effort. plays beautifully, and the sounds are truly a pleasure to hear. i don't want to put anyone in a coma with all this... so thats it, this is a great site, first rate people, lots of info. thanks

strings Posted April 1, 2011 Author Posted April 1, 2011 kidsmoke, purchased as a 2006, i believe, based on the info i read on this site, that the p.u.'s are schaller. whatever they are, i really like the sound they produce.

schundog Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Congratulations on the new guit! She's a beauty, all right. I've got a trans-cherry 535, and it's an incredibly versatile guitar. I hope yours brings you many years of enjoyment, and I hope you'll stick around and enjoy the company around here!
