jarrodsturgis Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 I do a lot of fill in stuff for whoever needs me. I play with a local band for fun and we get out about 6 times a year. But, for the most part, I just try to have a good time jammin here and there. The 5 nights a week thing about killed me.
BLS Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Cool vid, thanks for posting that. I have a couple of G Firebird's and would love to add a Heritage 357 to the fold. MY friend (Forum Member SMAJ) has a Korina 357 being built as we speak by ML. Can't wait to see it/play it in person!
yoslate Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I had the pleasure of playing Brent's at PSPIII. Wonderful SG-like tone, and sustain for months!!! Not my style of plank, but what an instrument!
rjsanders Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 onliest time i saw EC live was in San Jose, '68, and he played a Firebird I. so-o-o, should the H guit be called "1357"?
NoNameBand Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I think it should be called the Heritage 357 Magnum.
smaj Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Can't wait for mine to get finished, that video was super cool. A great looking 357!
golferwave Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 As Frankie's former bass player and current friend, I will have to say that the 357 was not easy to get out of Marv's hands. But, Frankie does love that guitar. The tone is amazing and the looks are 100% classic. Cool...Marv is a master craftsman and his creations are pure vintage tone machines. We know Frankie is a busy guy but tell him to check in here once in a while. We'd love to hear from him.
