hbm1861 Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 I find myself having to consider selling my Gary Moore Heritage guitar, bought some years ago new, and signed by the man himself. Never actually played it and have only taken it out of the case to photograph it, I wonder if it is of any interest to anyone reading this ? I will only part with it if the sums are right ! Gary was a friend, I was his chauffeur for 20 years. Do get in touch if you like, but don't expect me to betray any confidences ! David
DetroitBlues Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 While I won't have the funds to purchase such a fine instrument, I would like to see more pics of it!
NoNameBand Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 What a great piece to have in your collection along with the stories that go with it.
pegleg32 Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Isn't that kind of like selling an old friend? I mean no disrepect, but why would you be willing to part with it?
MartyGrass Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 I love Gary's playing. This may seem like heresy, but I'd like someone to surprise me on Christmas with his LP burst and Black Beauty. The H150 is too pretty to play. Plus I think it needs batteries. You know how bad it sucks Christmas morning to get something that won't work because you're out of batteries.

That is a cool guitar and a great story. Must have great memories. Sorry to say I need to educate myself on Gary, heard the name though.

Dasherdave Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Wow, what a beautiful instrument! Unfortunately, I would not be able to afford that guitar (although would truly love to own it). I will happily play my recently purchase H-150 20th Anniversary VSB guitar that I in fact named "Gary Moore" in honour of the man as I have been a serious fan of his forever!! R.I.P. Gary Moore. P.S. Anyone who has never heard or seen Gary play is truly missing out..go check out and buy his record "Still Got the Blues for You" its a great place to start!!
mark555 Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Isn't that kind of like selling an old friend? I mean no disrepect, but why would you be willing to part with it? To cash in? Sorry, I tend to see things that way. Me, I'd keep it, and I would love to own it but can't afford it right now.
yngwie308 Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 I have two of the Gary Moore Heritages, this one is quite dark for the Amber Burst from the first series, to put a price on these guitars, one cannot go by the Blue Book. There is considerable emotion attached to one of these signed by Gary and being connected with him for twenty years is amazing. Please send me an email to davidtalkin@yahoo.com I may well be able to help you and could you include the pictures as an attachment. I'm sure I can help out. Dave
