DavesNotHere Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Hey All, I'm new here and according to UPS my first Heritage is due to be delivered tomorrow April 15th. It's a 19xx H-xxx. (a little bit of suspense) Based on the guitars I see here, I think it may be a bit unusual. I'm sure you'll let me know, even if it's not, I really like it. I had been lusting over it for about a month, and the day I decided to pull the trigger Brent put his quilted up for sale and I then faced a moral dilemma. I came this close to changing my mind but I went with the original object of my lust. ( If Brent's doesn't sell soon I may be headed for a divorce) If Ron brings his camera over to Joe's Saturday, I'll be able to post a couple of professional photos, if not I'll post my lousy photos. Stay tuned... Dave
High Flying Bird Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 It's a 19xx H-xxx. (a little bit of suspense) That just earned you an ass whuppin' sonny boy. Better yet, remember what happened to Schansman.
DavesNotHere Posted April 15, 2011 Author Posted April 15, 2011 That just earned you an ass whuppin' sonny boy. Better yet, remember what happened to Schansman. Do you worst. I have five kids and two dogs, so one little turd dosen't scare me! And besides, I'll make you wear Bozeman's sombrero
High Flying Bird Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 I think we are getting together Saturday night, at least Joe seemed to think we would. I want to see this thing.
Assumer Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 It is always so difficult to wait for the delivery.
DavesNotHere Posted April 15, 2011 Author Posted April 15, 2011 It is always so difficult to wait for the delivery. Yes, I've heard it said "The wa-a-aiting is the hardest part" UPS ususally shows in my neighborhood around 16:00 so It will be akin to torture tomorrow at work.
FredZepp Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 It's a 19xx H-xxx. I've got one similiar to that, but certainly not the same... and I love mine. And good for you, it's one with a couple of miles on it. I like 'em that way. (Well, I lust after the new ones also... )

Yes, I'm in Huntsville, and we literally have rockets on every street corner, well maybe not every street corner, but on at least a few. We have Marshall Space Flight Center, Army Missle Command, Redstone Arsenal and all kinds of other flying things.

Where are you in Jersey? I grew up in Levittown PA. and spent many summers in Sea Side and Wildwood. It's only about a 14 hour drive.....
DavesNotHere Posted April 16, 2011 Author Posted April 16, 2011 OK It's here, it's real and it's spectacular. At least I think so... I need to figure out how to post reasonable sized pictures without removing all of the detail, but here are a few of the my new baby. Made July 21, 1986 fifth of the day.
DavesNotHere Posted April 16, 2011 Author Posted April 16, 2011 And here's the money shot. And if I can twist Ron's arm, I'll be able to post some real photos.

I live very close to Pt Pleasant which is just north of Seaside Heights. Beautiful guitar, nice find. Good luck with her.
High Flying Bird Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 I like that finish. I don't remember seeing one of these in almond sunburst. I can't wait to see it.
