My First Heritage

Hey All,

I'm new here and according to UPS my first Heritage is due to be delivered tomorrow April 15th.

It's a 19xx H-xxx. (a little bit of suspense)

Based on the guitars I see here, I think it may be a bit unusual. I'm sure you'll let me know, even if it's not, I really like it.

I had been lusting over it for about a month, and the day I decided to pull the trigger Brent put his quilted up for sale and I then faced a moral dilemma. I came this close to changing my mind but I went with the original object of my lust. ( If Brent's doesn't sell soon I may be headed for a divorce)

If Ron brings his camera over to Joe's Saturday, I'll be able to post a couple of professional photos, if not I'll post my lousy photos.

Stay tuned...

I think we are getting together Saturday night, at least Joe seemed to think we would. I want to see this thing.

It is always so difficult to wait for the delivery.

Yes, I've heard it said "The wa-a-aiting is the hardest part"

UPS ususally shows in my neighborhood around 16:00 so It will be akin to torture tomorrow at work.

I've got one similiar to that, but certainly not the same... and I love mine.

And good for you, it's one with a couple of miles on it. I like 'em that way.

(Well, I lust after the new ones also... )

That brown truck will be less than a couple of miles from my house. Remember the 357 Louisville caper Fred?

Hey not here, you in Bama also? Just a guess. I heard they have rockets in Huntsville, but not sure.

What time should I be over?? A short drive from NJ I believe. We need a local chapter.

Welcome to the club Dave.

Yes, I'm in Huntsville, and we literally have rockets on every street corner, well maybe not every street corner, but on at least a few.

We have Marshall Space Flight Center, Army Missle Command, Redstone Arsenal and all kinds of other flying things.

Welcome to the club Dave.

Thanks. Where are you in Jersey? I grew up in Levittown PA. and spent many summers in Sea Side and Wildwood.

It's only about a 14 hour drive.....

OK It's here, it's real and it's spectacular. At least I think so...

I need to figure out how to post reasonable sized pictures without removing all of the detail, but here are a few of the my new baby. Made July 21, 1986 fifth of the day.

I live very close to Pt Pleasant which is just north of Seaside Heights.

Beautiful guitar, nice find. Good luck with her.

I like that finish. I don't remember seeing one of these in almond sunburst. I can't wait to see it.
