Livewire Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Hi all First time visit to the forum for me. I would appreciater help with the serial # on my Sweet 16. The first letter is slightly smudged and I can not tell if it is an 'H' or an 'M'. Total serial is H(or)M18801. It was purchased from Jay Wolfe in Florida in 1999. A unique girl with emerald green finish over flamed maple, black hardware, Johnny Smith tail piece and ebony pick guard. She is paired to a Top Hat Supreme 16 amp and always stops people in their tracks. One of the most comfortable guitars I have ever used, it is easy to play her for hours on end. Look forward to any advice. Cheers LIVEWIRE

Have you checked the label inside the f hole, sometimes the serial # is also there.
Blunote Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Where in NZ are you? I was there (mostly Auckland) from August through November last year. Really loved the country.
