Any chance you saw a 157 laying around as well? I'm curious as to how it's progessing.

I'm sure its coming along nicely. Just as soon as a few more trees grow to support all the wood grain types you asked for! LOL!

Both are bursts, mine is a VWB with an ebony board and MOP blocks. Mine will have P-Rails on it (in the Triple Shot rings). Mr. Lamb builds them two at a time, so you could have seen either one. The wait gets more difficult knowing how close it is getting...

I went through this last fall. TKL doesn't make a case for a Firebird. The Explorer case, I was told by TKL, didn't work. The Thunderbird case was too big. I tried to get them to make a custom case for me but they were so bad about returning calls I forgot about it.

I have the Epiphone case. Nice case but not as nice as a TKL.

I found a shop that had NOS Gibson cases.

$149.99, not too bad.

$55 shipping for one state over, not so great.

$3.60 "credit card fee", annoying as hell.

Maybe Brent will let me use his template to spray-paint my case, too!

Sounds like a good plan for a good case. I need a new case for my 150, the old one is shot('92 and beat to h**l). Ren at Heritage said it will cost $200.00 from them.

You can always be crafty and make your own...

Really, I can see that. Not if I value the guitar.
