Disclaimer: These observations can't be broadly generalized and therefore may be useless. The H530 has SD pups, Jazz and 59, so it's a weirdo guitar. The H555 has HRWs with a maple neck.

Picking up the H530, it feels like a Nutrisystems success story. The H555 is Marie Osmond pre-diet. Really it's probably 8 lbs. But it's the heavy twin.

The HRWs sound chimey. They all do to me. The SDs sound broader spectrum.

Both are very good yet they are clearly very different. I'm not just being PC when I say neither is better

I would say good that they are different, no redundancy. I love all my guitars, and two are probably redundant to some extent but can't part with either.

The 530 is a smaller 535?

I'm drooling over the fact that you have the opp to just pick each one up and try it out at will! On that count, everyday's gotta be a good day....Thanks for the glimpse! I think I rem that you were selling a 550 thinline...hope that has gone well. (if I rem correctly)
