My guitar is not being scrapped is it? Maybe scraped. :icon_biggrin:

Actually Marv said that's the next step. Of many steps I'm sure.

Downloaded Explorer 9 the other day and spell check isn't working now... But yes, I meant scraped. :rolleyes_mini:

skydog52,

That is a nice looking top for sure... I never trust the resolution on my comp screen.... I think you are going for a Duane / hot lanta look?

Oops! Lol, too early in the morning for self-spell checking (same here, no auto spell check on my work computer) - I saw how you had typed it and followed suit, lol.

At least everyone knew what I meant....

+1 on lucky to be close, but for me it might bankrupt me.

Beautiful finish, good choice. Cool to see it being done. Is this basically how they finish all their guitars?

Exactly Dbetts. It was like Marv shot it before!

Nothing like freestyling it. I guess when you've done as many as Marv, you can just wing it. It looks great. Very cool. I'm sure it is tortuous to wait but worth it in the end. Congratulations on your upcoming masterpiece.

He probably did! You've landed on a goldmine! Congrats!

Let's not mention the work thing...

Marv's approach to artistic perfection seems so blase from the photos. 50 years of bringing so much joy to the owners of his handywork. Amazing!

I understand the excitement of waiting for a custom order (as many others do here on the HOC), and will always think of Marv.

Check out the look on his face after spraying my 525. It cracks me up he is so (Ho Hum) calm...and I was going NUTS with anticipation!!

Here is a pic of Patrick finishing a 535... looks like the same booth.
