gibrick Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 Hi, I'm new to the Heritage world. I bought a gorgeous used H525 that has a custom shop label with two sets of initials. The V.S.B I get (what a beautiful finish!) but the what the heck does P.T.D. mean? I'm sure it's simple but it's not twigging. Thanks!
fxdx99 Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 Perfect Tone Device Naw, just kidding. I read on Wolfe's site what that meant, but I've forgotten. Started as a Wolfe requested thin 575 with P90s if I recall right so maybe something like P90 Thin Depth? Congrats on the new guitar! We need pics - Does it look kinda like... this?!?
Gitfiddler Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 I think 'PDT' stands for P90, Dual pickup, Thinline. All I know for sure is that it is one of the greatest, most toneful guitars I've ever played.

Looks pretty much exactly like that! Gorgeous to hold, play, and look at.
