DetroitBlues Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 1985... Why, don't I feel foolish, of course it was later. It explains why my H-140 has a tummy cut and block inlays.... Doh!

FredZepp Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Is there a lot of difference between the older 140s and the new ones? I haven't played a second edition 140... The specs are all the same, just the shape is different, so you'd really expect them to be very similiar. I like the idea of playing the original design just because it's great to imagine the guys just starting the company. My 1989 is near mint, has old Dimarzio PAF and Super Distortion pickups, and a really chunky neck. It's just a blast to play.. it rocks.
