At Heritage, No Customer Is Too Small

My son went to Kalamazoo yesterday to pick up a guitar for me. He played my 357 briefly to make sure it was ready for

prime time. He also checked out a couple semi-hollows. He has a little obstacle course set up at my house with

two 555s and an ES-339, so he knows how to get around them without causing any damage.

Many thanks to the fine people at Heritage for stopping their day long enough to indulge a customer who just

celebrated his second birthday. I know that he will be returning for more hardware in the future!

Some modern companies would see that as a waste of their time. I think this embodies the words 'customer service'.

Well done, Heritage.

Great pictures Jack. You're never too young to start enjoying these fine instruments.

I saw that 357 last week when I was there. It's killer. Congratulations.

Thats awesome!!! Did he put it through its paces? How did he get there, on his tricycle or is he driving yet? He looks to be years beyond his tender age!

Your son has excellent taste in guitars; yet another great day at 225 Parsons Street!

I too got a sneak peek at that 357, and what an awesome looking guitar it was :icon_thumright:

What a cute little guy! As I started to read this, I thought to myself, "Man, I thought this Jack guy was younger than me, and his KID went to go pick up his guitar?!" You got me. Enjoy your new 357.

P.S. Anyone else ever wonder what year Orville put down that vinyl flooring? :icon_biggrin:

Great pics, they're never too early to start! You can even change the bottom of your message threads to say 2011 H-357 instead of being "in progress"

Nice pix JackBaruth and Great little guy ! I can't think of any other company that would even let a little fellow like that near their product. To me, this is the best kind of marketing - being human.

The Heritage continues...

Thanks for the great pics.

It seems that your young fellow has picked out a semi-hollow already.

congrats, great pic. selfishly, I always like to see what's 'on the rack' ready to ship out!

looks like some tasty ones.

That black 535 on the rack looks pretty cool.

Jack make sure you post pics of that new fiddle as well....

your son is ADORABLE! And so to is the 357 - congrats! : )

I couldn't quite read your son's shirt - something to the effect of: "I went to 225 Parsons Street and all I got was this t-shirt, but daddy got a sick 357?"

Nice work!

Very nice story, thank you. You are a lucky man. I'm sure the Heritage guys enjoyed the visit. That is a great age enjoy it as they get big quick. Oh, the guitar is cool too to say the least. Congratulations.

Bought my son a righty mini Martin for Xmas when he was 3, he turned out to be a lefty and gravitated to piano, oh well...

Nice pics - so cute! In that first pic, looks like he's telling Marv "when I scream, I hit high C right here" :)

Can't wait to see and read more of your 357.

Is that finish OSB? It looks a lot like my 357's finish.

Enjoy the little one while you can. My daughters were not as impressed.

They were hiding from Kenny taking his family photos.

I agree with Totonka I feel two again whenever I cross the Parsons St. threshold.

wow that's too cool..."two cool" actually, happy birthday to the little guy :D

I wish I could have done stuff like that when I was two

lets see some pics of that 357!

Posted

I will get some better photos soon... I've been coming home from work late.

On the other hand, I already have four hours of play time on the guitar!

Note that it doesn't fit into a Gibby Bird case. Have to make different arrangements.

This thread only makes me want to order a 357 more than ever now!

How close do you live to the Heritage factory Mr. Baruth?

That is a funny pic. I imagine my daughter would act the same... But my son, he'd be in heaven! Driving home yesterday, my wife had country on the radio and my son asks, "Dad, can we NOW listen to some Rock N' Roll?" YEA! That's my boy! :music_mini2:
