Parts for Heritage H150

Hello HOC members!

I'm Tim Rounds in Seattle. I just found your site today trying to find some parts for my '87 H150 flame top. It is a great guitar that I purchased in 1987. A couple of years ago my teenage grandson expressed a keen interest in picking up electric guitar so with some trepidation I loaned him my Heritage knowing that it is a lot easier to learn guitar on a fine instrument and not on one of the unplayable Stellas that I started out on.

I'm in SoCal for a visit and I was a little pissed off to find my fine H150 deep in a closet missing one of its volume knobs and the cream colored pick guard.

Are these parts available anyplace that you know of?

Thank you very much, Tim

Volume knob shouldn't be a problem finding. There are many that will serve the purpose and it doesn't have to be from Heritage. I have bought several from here

Someone here may have a pickguard they will sell/donate.

hopefully the grandson didn't throw the pickguard away. Most likely it's around somewhere. I'd definitely say though that it might be time to "repossess" your guitar before something worse happens to it.

My '85 H-140 VCB's pickguard is a standard gibson shaped creme LP pickguard and the control knobs were basic gold speed knobs. That shouldn't be hard to replace. Now the scratches, gouges, and who knows what on that guitar might be a different story. My son wants an electric guitar. While I'm inclined to get him one, the way he treats everything in his room, I seriously doubt it will be anytime soon. I feel your pain. Got any pics to share? We are of course all about the Heritage Guitar Pic Porn!
