Guest HRB853370 Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 I know Heritage, being a small operation, means that the owners must have to be "jacks of all trades". Thinking back to the McCarty Era book I recently finished reading, every employee had a specific job, but if they had no work to do at a particular moment, they always helped out other employees at other workstations. Of course, this was back when G had between 600 and 1200 employees! I also remember them having one or two guys that pretty much sprayed and finished all the guitars back then, and they were experts in what they did. Now with Heritage, today, is it Marv that is in charge of finishing all of the guitars?
DetroitBlues Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Can't run a small company if your not a master of your trade already.

skydog52 Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 Marv doesn't do them regularly but he is always supervising I think his name was Patrick. Marv is pretty damn good at it. I am sure he has done his share. The hand of the master at work.
brentrocks Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 i believe Floyd and Patrick do most of the finishing
