DetroitBlues Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Ah! I didn't realize the Gibby was only 20 frets, not 22. At least the luthier didn't make a mistake that I might have!
tulk1 Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Here are my kissin' cousins Uh ... that don't look like kissin', to me!!
Guest HRB853370 Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Uh ... that don't look like kissin', to me!! Yeah, that position, ummm
schundog Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Uh ... that don't look like kissin', to me!! Dirty Old Man...
H Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Uh ... that don't look like kissin', to me!! Now's the time I wish I had a guitar from '69
DetroitBlues Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 Now this is what I call a cousin! Not sure if a Heritage can be called a kissing cousin to this, unless you refer it to the backwaters of Mississippi!
schundog Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 The Heritage cousin was delivered yesterday. Here they are:
DetroitBlues Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 If only Heritage included the MOP inlay instead of silkscreen on the headstocks of the H-150's... My old H-140 is inlaid, but new versions standard logo is not.
DetroitBlues Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 That's a cool picture. Would of been better if it was compared to MartyGrass's new white H-157!
bobmeyrick Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 A couple of quick snaps of my "kissin' cousins". 1. 1998 Heritage 150 CM VSB and 2002 Gibson Les Paul Standard Lightburst. 2. 2007 Heritage 535 ASB and 1989 Gibson 335 Dot Re-issue.
zguitar71 Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 One Heritage, two Gibsons and one Kalamazoo. 1938 Kalamazoo, 2010 Heritage H150 Gold Top P-90's, 1980 Gibson V2, 1981 Gibson ES 347
cram1960 Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Here are my "cousins" All chambered or semi-hollow: Heritage H530, Heritage H535, Gibson 335 Studio, Fender Esprit
FredZepp Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 I dig the 3 semi/ hollow guitars in your pic , cram1960. And I remember those Fenders.. interesting to see one again. And some nice amps backing them up. And also dig the unusual ones in zguitar71's pics. The Heritage is awesome , of course.. but also a 347 and a V2, cool. I'm sure that Kalamazoo was a good one to grab also.
