craig Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Can someone please tell me the length of the H-535, since it's not on Heritages' website and they don't answer their emails? (From the top of headstock to bottom of body). Thankyou. Craig
111518 Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 The spec that once appeared on the site was: 535/555 are 17 7/8" long, 16" wide, and 1 1/2 rim thickness. Just for comparison, Gibson specs the 335 historic as 19" long, 16" wide, and 1 3/4 thick. I think there is some variation in the length of the headstock on Heritage guitars, so I'm not sure the length from tip to end is uniform. On my 535, it is very close to 42 inches. Can someone please tell me the length of the H-535, since it's not on Heritages' website and they don't answer their emails? (From the top of headstock to bottom of body). Thankyou. Craig
Guest HRB853370 Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 I find it interesting and unusual that you are not getting replies by email. I think Ren used to monitor the emails but perhaps with production schedules, its not been getting done. It seems logical that Vince should keep up with that.

t0aj15 Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Mine are all 40 3/4 inches. Ditto. Measured across the the back of the guitar and excluding the strap button, mine is 40-3/4". Measuring across the face of the guitar presents a number of variables and invariably you will end up with all sorts of different numbers because of all the different possible measure points. But measure it on the backside and I immediately came up with 40-3/4".

I like the idea that they are too busy to answer e-mail.. It probably means they are busy building Kick Ass guitars..(But I live in West Virginia)
111518 Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Mine are all 40 3/4 inches. Yup, as t0aj15 suggests, I think we measured differently. When I go straight from back of body to peak, I get about your measurement (40 7/8's.) I got 42 inches by laying a strap across the top of the guitar then measuring the strap --so that added the break angle of the headstock, whereas your measurement sort of subtracted that angle. If you measured along the plane of the neck, and brought the plane of the headstock up to that plane --you'd get a measurement a little longer than yours and shorter than mine. Geometry.
