His comments make the most sense as well!!! "Tenon length thoughts The most important part of a set-neck electric's tenon is the part which preceeds the neck pickup rout...we want to see as much surface area there as is possible and practical. So, the best thing to do IMO is to design a joint that features as much of that as possible....and practical. Any additional length underneath the neck pup is welcome, but not as important IMO. All of this assumes a tight fit of course!"
