I guess if you have "dirty" power or plug into an outlet with a Bud Light sign it could be a slight issue.

 

OK, I see what your saying. Still a neat trick with the soap bars though.

 

I think a lot of noise is from bad wiring. I would think you would really notice it in older buildings like clubs, etc... A buddy's house only has 2 prong outlets.
