That sounds like my kind of guitar, I almost never use tone pots on any of my guitars. If you don't mind my asking, what was the price tag on it? Thinking of ordering my own custom build some time next year.
SofaPlayer Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 With the exception of a few posts some time ago I've only been lurking here because all my attempts to acquire my first Heritage have failed somehow. No Heritage, no valid HOC member, I suppose. But if everything goes as planned, I'll get my Custom ordered Millennium Ultra this summer. Bigsby B7, Lollar Imperials, 50s neck profile, nickle hardware, split block inlays, translucent wine red. I'm sitting on hot coals as you can imagine. Should be nearly completed during PSP IV - if you get to play it, please treat it well. And take some pictures please. I won't be able to attend, the trip is too far from Europe.

Now that sounds like my kind of guitar! (Though I'm personally not a bigsby fan) A custom Milli is certainly on my wish list as well

Me neither, love that high treble punch of a hot humbucker! The guitar came out to 1800 with case before tax,the standard 137 with p 90s goes for sixteen,so not much more for a special order!

Very cool, it's priceless to know you are getting exactly what you want too - one of the many great attributes of Heritage

big bob Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 I'm thinking of a custom 535 or prospect.. Keeping the specs under my hat for now.. but will have three pups and a bigsby for sure..
FredZepp Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Wow, there is some great incoming guitars being made right now. And BB , I love that 170. Plays great and freakin' great sound, glad I got to see it at PSP. .. I want to check out that archtop acoustic of yours this year !!

That's not bad, I'm actually thinking of about the same thing but 2 p90's and two volume knobs, either a black 137 or black 140, I think the black with creme binding and pickgaurd is really sweet.

To clarify, when I said that's not bad I meant the price in no way did u mean to downplay your axe, sounds like a no frills down and dirty get the job done monster, I'm very jealous!
Gitfiddler Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Great to see all of the forthcoming custom orders!! I too would love to order another one-off. Maybe a super pimped out Millie Ultra Budget Busting Gitfiddler Special...or something. For now, I'm extremely happy with my current custom Heritage H525PDT (Pretty Darned Terrific) model.
