@pressure - can't wait to see THAT one! Sounds real tasty. Chestnut burst sounds divine! Will u have it in time for PSP IV? I'd love to see that baby in person, and feel that c-shaped neck.

@guitfiddler - *nice* guitfiddle!

Me neither, love that high treble punch of a hot humbucker! The guitar came out to 1800 with case before tax,the standard 137 with p 90s goes for sixteen,so not much more for a special order!

@guitarfreak - did u order through a local shop, or directly from Heritage?

Somebody, please show me a picture of a "Millie" and does it actually say "Millie" on the label, or this just a nickname given it (in honor of Mildred, the widow of one of the long term employees of Heritage, this is what I was told).

Will, you may recall that Antique Natural Millie with a black pickguard. You played it in your basement I recall. You did have two beers which would explain your memory lapse.

They came out in the year 2000 thus the name.

As far as the original poster's question. I have a 575 in production the last 3 months, whatever that means. Have no idea when it will be done nor how close it will come to my specs. Called Ren to check on it and got nowhere. That's OK I'll just play my Prospect P90 and roll with it.

To koula901: I have no idea if it will be ready for PSP but I hope so.

I also have a Fender Custom Shop Tele on order since September 2010.

It's a race to see who gets to the finished line first. The builder for the Tele is Dennis Galuszka and he is the Custom Shop rep for this years Road Show.

I hope he brings the Tele with to the Road Show at The Music Gallery in Highland Park, June 16th.

I ordered this H-157CM AAA-top in January:

• Light weight – 7.5 lb target

• Honduran Mahogany Body (single piece)

• No visible “knots” in the wood.

• Two piece Book-Matched Tiger-Stripe Flame maple top (see example).

• Dark Almond sunburst (see example) – almost a dark cherry sunburst.

• Wood grain visible everywhere – top, edges of top, sides, back, neck, etc…

• Edges of top approximately the same color as sides (no drastic change from top edge to sides).

• Chrome hardware (not nickel, not gold)

• Nashville Bridge and stop bar tail piece

• Neck, rim, and back not sunburst – just translucent single shade

• Neck carve – medium (between 50’s and 60’s style)

• Seymour Duncan pickups – 59’s

• Skinny (high pitched) e-string – not too close to edge of fingerboard.

• Smooth transition from fret to binding as the e-string rolls off the fret board. (no “Nib-itis”)

• String gauge .010-.046

• Grover tuners

• Pickguard not installed – left in case with bracket and screws.

• Blackest piece of ebony for the fingerboard you ever seen.

• All the Pearl inlays have interesting character, nothing plain or boring.

Someday, she will be mine. I also have a Taylor acoustic BTO (Build To Order) on order.
