High Flying Bird Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Dig it! Unfortunately, we can't even seem to manage getting some "The Heritage" Leather Guitar Straps! Hahahaha...... you nailed that one! We have 4 Heritage owners in my immediate circle of friends. Jim or Joe would never imagine joining a forum but Dave joined before he got his pointy piece of Parson's. They have a regional section on the Honda Element site. They have get togethers and such. Feel free to click the North Alabama & South Central Tennessee link when the admin gets it ready.
barrymclark Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Yes, but we forgot to invite Barry M Clark!! I'd be the Northwest Atlanta guy.
koula901 Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 We need some Harely Davidson rider vests... Kind of like Sons of Anarchy! LOL. Just kidding. yeah . . . sign me up!!! . . . NAH!
donnie Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 I'm the only member in the FL Panhandle Chapter. Ah, not necessarily! Where 'bouts are you down there?
westley Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 With Wolfe Guitars down here in Florida I'm sure we'd have a good turnout. Absolutely! Jay and Graham are 15 minutes from my home. Finer men, cooler cats and better axes you will not find my friends! Jus sayin.
DetroitBlues Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Ok, so how we gonna do this? Divide the US into five regions? Then add Canada, Europe, Asia, Australia, and S. America?
Guest HRB853370 Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 We need some Harely Davidson rider vests... Kind of like Sons of Anarchy! LOL. Just kidding. I was thinking along the lines of "Wild Hocs" (remember the movie, Wild Hogs)?

kidsmoke Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 cool idea....quarterly jams or such. I'm 2 1/2 hours from K-zoo, and would drive once every three months for some friendly jamming, Bells mini kegs and a burger with some like minded brethren....maybe send tab sheets out a month a head of time and get together for a little gig. Hell, I'd even spring for a studio in Chicago when it was my turn to host, rpck the joint for a couple three hours, then get dinner and see a band or festival set. 2.5 hours can go pretty quick when you're in the car with friends. BTW, looks like I may play a role in increasing the Chicago contingent by one. My buddy is this/close to pulling the trigger on a 150.

Better hit up your buddy hard, let him know he has the chance to own a piece of real American History!

mars_hall Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 True....although, I believe the ferry runs from Manitowoc to Ludington. The last time I drove to Lansing was in October of 2009 (MI G&L jam), and by that time the ferry was shut down for the year. That might be a fun trip, though, but driving through the UP and over the Mackinac bridge is pretty incredible, too. It's a long ride, but it has to be one of the most scenic drives in the USA. I did that UP excursion a lifetime ago on the way to a set of gigs on the western shore of that big lake. A very warm place in my memories are there.

Accessable only by boat. I went up there 15 years or so ago with a fellow sailing friend; we watched the yachts take off from the Chicago Yacht Club for the Mac Race, then drove up and stayed on the Island, waiting for the racers to show up. Neat place.
