nachogrande Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 I have Teese RMC-6 Wheels of Fire. It has 3 knobs on side which give you very wide range of tones and sweep room. They put those knobs in front of the pedal at recent models.
RJLII Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 I used to have a Dunlop Hendrix Wah (Brentrocks has it now) that did the classic thing very well. It was well built and reasonably priced too. An earlier poster commented about noise. As I understand it, Wah Wah pedals are very succeptable to noise from wall warts on powered pedal boards.
barrymclark Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 I really liked my Morley Wah when I had it. I used it as more ofa sweep filter than a classic wah but it was really cool. I really dug how it kicked off when I lifted my foot.
DetroitBlues Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Only issue I have with Crybabies or Vox wah's is they wear out. Dust, dirt, worn parts, they just seem to get old and worn out. Many effect stomp pedals usually need a pot change or a switch change, but wah's pretty much need to be replaced.
