H Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 That has just become one of my favourite 150s on the forum - what a fantastic top!
golferwave Posted June 17, 2011 Author Posted June 17, 2011 Nice ... I love Almond Burst .. and the reflectors are cool. And, of course, a great choice in pickups. What is that on the truss rod cover? a 2010... what is the neck like? .. The neck on this one is a 60's profile..feels great. The one on the 25th Anniversary is chunkier..50's profile. The truss rod cover is from Bryan England's Custom Inlay. WWW.custominlay.com This one is a MOP and abalone Eagle. The covers are wood and come in either rosewood or ebony. Lot's of different ones for Heritage. High quality work.
fxdx99 Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 My oh my - been holding back on us. You sure do have an eye for pretty 150s. Another winner. Very cool that Throbaks are in it. It's telling given the number of 150/pickup combinations you've had that your putting in Throbaks now. Twofer Congrats!
111518 Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 Beautiful guitars. So, is the goal 150 150's? (They say the difference between a collection and an accumulation is a plan.)
golferwave Posted June 18, 2011 Author Posted June 18, 2011 Beautiful guitars. So, is the goal 150 150's? (They say the difference between a collection and an accumulation is a plan.) It sure seems that way doesn't it! I actually traded in my other almond sunburst H-150 on this one. The finish and top on this one was nicer. Since they're all hand done each one turns out a little different which is great. I traded in one of my vintage sunburst H-150's on the wine red one.
heritagefan7 Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Been said before--but since it's a twofer kind of day...BEAUTIFUL!
