Desena Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 Hi guys. Thought I would share what I just did to my 04 H-150 in Old Vintage Sunburst. I just finished upgrading the whole thing with new Russian PIO caps .015 neck & .022 bridge/ new Dimarzio 36th Anniv. PAF's zebras/ push/pull pot for bypass tone pots option for either or both pickups/ push/pull for parralel wiring option for either or both pickups/ Callham steel bridge and studs/ Faber aluminum tailpiece w/ steel studs. Sounds insane. Best sounding LP type guitar I've ever played. Sustains for days. I had SD59's in it before. The Dimarzio 36th PAF's to my ears, are without question an incredible sounding PAF.
Desena Posted June 20, 2011 Author Posted June 20, 2011 Forgot to mention also added push/pull bleed option for neck
golferwave Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 Really nice! Great job on it. I have the 36th anniversary PAF's in my 535 and they sound terrific.
FredZepp Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 Sounds like some great fine tuning that you've done. Push pulls can be a great way to get some nice options, and you chose some very tone-full ways of using them. You've taken a great 150 and taken it a bit farther...
