eor Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 though i'm guessing no, i figured i'd ask. is it possible to order up a longer neck on a heritage? say 27-28"? like a baritone/soloway swan/bass vi kinda thing. i tune down a lot, and i've never seen an extended scale semi or hollow bodied guitar.
barrymclark Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 That'd be interesting! Maybe call Jay Wolfe. He seems to have his finger on what may or may not happen with Heritage.
Halowords Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 I had a similar question. http://www.heritageownersclub.com/forums/index.php?/topic/13473-does-heritage-make-a-baritone/ The general consensus was pretty much "you won't know unless you ask." It would be interesting to first hear what you find out, and second hear how it sounded. It seems like you are considering a baritone semi-hollow or hollow bodied guitar, which I do not think I have ever seen. Usually it is something I associate with Buckethead and Petrucci, or with drop-tuned Heavy Metal bands.
