DetroitBlues Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Simuliar design for sure. So do you have a comparison of the two?
tulk1 Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Oh and all the nuts were metric - just sayin'. Anytime you see all that goober laid over the top of a circuit --- red flag!!
Thundersteel Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 The chassis is the same, but the circuit boards have a slightly different layout. The electronic components may be different as well. But they are very similar indeed.
JeffB Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 After a recent mad pedal buy up and borrow, I came to one conclusion: Same s*** different buckets. I dont care who made them. Ive got a Rat and a TS9 from the 80's that tell me nothings changed except for internet hype. Lets reinvent the wheel and paint it a bright wiggy colour and give it a fab new name. Im sitting her surrounded by over 20 of the stupid things and theyre all just a minor tweak on an eq pedal away from being the same as the next one. Heres a video that explains it better. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZFtjRycPDs

Well said Tully, a good lesson for me to internalize and quit wasting my money on.
koula901 Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 A lesson I'm just starting to learn. Good vid, Tully.
