What does an X above a h157 serial mean?

Hey guys im looking to pickup a h157 what does the x above the serial number mean? Does it mean the production year or that it is an x stock item?

X = 2007

My 2007 535 also has the "X" above the rest of the serial number. It's just the way some of them were numbered that year.
