Horace Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 On a few high end Heritage models - Golden Eagle, Super Eagle, and Henry Johnson as well as on a few Gibson models - J200 and L5 their is a rounded point in the center of the fretboard that sticks out toward the neck pickup beyond what would otherwise be the end of the fretboard. Is there a name for this little doo-dad ? Thanks, Horace
Horace Posted July 18, 2011 Author Posted July 18, 2011 Cupids Bow.. Thanks big bob ! I've wondered about that for years and never thought to ask. Horace
DetroitBlues Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Yep, check out KBP810's custom built H-157 thread. You'll find he ordered one. Looks absolutely stunning.... To me, its small touch that helps this become a high class instrument.

Gitfiddler Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 A multi-layer bound cupid's bow is so classy! kbp810~I just noticed that the fret ends extend all the way to the edge of the fretboard. Very nice touch. Is there anything you forgot on that amazing instrument?!
