Alfonzo Posted July 21, 2011 Author Posted July 21, 2011 I bought that crappy strat when I started and quickly realized that it was a POS. So, I started looking around and doing my research. Being a lefty there were not many to try so if I was going to buy a new guitar on an order, I wanted to make sure it would be a good one. My guitar teacher told me about G&L, I looked and then ordered a 2008 ASAT Bluesboy. Loved it and still love it. I can't remember how I found out about SouthpawGUY, probably from the G&L forum, but he pointed me to the lefty guitar forums and the rest is history. Current lineup, attached (electrics only, l-r) 2009 G&L Legacy, Antique White 2008 G&L ASAT CLASSIC BLUESBOY, spanish copper metallic 2007 Duesenberg StarPlayer TV, Black 2011 G&L ASAT SPECIAL DELUXE, Natural Gloss 2009 Tele Partscaster (custom neck, warmoth body, Lawrence pups) 2008 Norman ST68 Acoustic 2011 Eastman AC508 Acoustic and of course the 2009 Heritage H-150CM, Chestnut Burst to round out the mix, for now. My serial number is Z01801 so if I understand this correctly, its a 2009, december model and the first one made that day. CAN'T WAIT.

Just looked it up and wow. What a cool unique guitar builder!
koula901 Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 I don't think that's a wineburst, Kuz has a 535 in wineburst and it is very different. By the way John, why not post a pic of that guitar and give me a fix? Alphonso, welcome to a fellow lefty! That's a gorgeous guitar! @mark - I think that's chestnut burst
koula901 Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 @Skinslammer on being a lefty. I don't slammer -- why don't you learn guitar lefty? What's the big deal? ; )
skydog52 Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Welcome aboard Alfonzo. I was born in Detroit so I'm almost Canadian. That is certainly a beauty. Now you are hooked!
