kbp810 Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 Took a small break today to play around with some LED lights in my Reverb Rocket Wreck... I picked up the cab for this one from a fellow Amp Garage member a short while back, but the chassis opening was a little bit bigger then my chassis (which actually is "correct" for a TW amp to have a small gap there) So I decided a little while back that it might be fun to rig up some LED's to let a little light fill that space This is what I came up with:
Steiner Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 That looks sweet! I used to sit at night and play guitar with the blue from the tubes being the only light. There's something calming about that color that I enjoy.
DetroitBlues Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 Now if he could make it bounce back in forth like Knight Rider or Cylons, that would be killer!
DetroitBlues Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 Wonder if it pulses when you play though it as the tubes react to the guitar?

It does not, which is a good thing - it's running on the filament heater line, and should only be drawing around 90ma of current (between this and the green LED pilot lamp)... so if these lights were pulsing, it would not be a good thing!
NoNameBand Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 Pretty cool. I love cobalt blue. Subtle also which helps the "Cool".
