DetroitBlues Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 Looking at those guitars, it caused me to think about the Nitro. What stands would anyone recommend that doesn't damage/discolor nitro?
je00143 Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 That looks like a 575 in the back row - but what is the guitar in the front - far right - with the finger tailpiece? Can't make out what is on the headstock….old eyes!

je00143 Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 A Sweet 16 with two pickups and tone controls? Wow!
Gitfiddler Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 I confirmed that the slightly overweight H-555 in the middle of this photo is called...........H-555 Custom!

LK155 Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Looking at those guitars, it caused me to think about the Nitro. What stands would anyone recommend that doesn't damage/discolor nitro? Ones fitted with protective devices.......
DavesNotHere Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Ones fitted with protective devices....... That stinks!
DetroitBlues Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 I've heard about that type if protective gear.
Fernando Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Ones fitted with protective devices....... That's the one I use, too.
Gitfiddler Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 That looks just like my protective gear, but I upgraded my gitfiddle stands with JC Penneys Gold Toe socks! Ha Ha! My wife thinks I'm nuts. Wait til I show her your stinky sock stand.
DetroitBlues Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 I'm actually going to use strips of black polishing cloth to wrap around the bars..... But on a serious note, I've heard the sock thing really does the trick...
brentrocks Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 at least you could have used argyle socks.....LOL
Jim W Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 It reminds me of a ES-150, not exactly the most popular guitar...... http://www.guitarvillage.co.uk/productdetail.aspx?pid=904
barrymclark Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 It reminds me of a ES-150, not exactly the most popular guitar...... http://www.guitarvil...il.aspx?pid=904 Good eye!
Jazzpunk Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 It reminds me of a ES-150, not exactly the most popular guitar...... http://www.guitarvil...il.aspx?pid=904 The ES-125 isn't a very popular model either but my Heritage 525 is my favorite Heritage out of the 5 that I have owned. You never know till you have it in your hands! I think the 150 sounds great and have no doubt that the new 555 custom will be fantastic as well.
HANGAR18 Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 I'm glad to see that The Heritage was showing off some gitars at NAMM. The majority of "dealers" in my area don't stock any Heritage guitars but say they'll be happy to order whatever I want. How can someone be a "dealer" if they aren't going to stock the product or do any old fashion salesmanship when a customer walks in the door looking for a guitar? That's not being a dealer, that's offering an ordering service to the pepole who are already sold on Heritage guitars! Shameful! All I'd have to do is stock one new Heritage guitar in my apartment and I'd be a detter dealer than these brick & morter store guys. Sheesh!
