MartyGrass Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 #38 in the series, so it is one of the last. The vast majority are gold hardware. Schallers with coil splitting. Plays well. From Rhoadescholar! http://s796.photobucket.com/albums/yy249/mgoetting/Little%20One/
MartyGrass Posted August 10, 2011 Author Posted August 10, 2011 As far as I know it never had HRWs or gold. The label had no indication of the pups. I can't tell if it's resoldered, but soldering in that tiny cavity cannot be a joy. What I've noticed that is different from the two other Little Ones I've had up close is: 1. No tone control. 2. Chrome 3. PAFs. 4. The stripes are perfectly straight. The others were angled some. PAFs are a good choice since the body is basically a maple-like wood and creates a bright sound. I will probably swap out the steel strings for nickel to help warm it up.
RhoadsScholar Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Great guitar. Miss it already. Its the one you leave right by the couch so it is there when you want to jam. Great pics
PAG Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Very nice!!! You won't have any problem to get it on an airplane.
koula901 Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Sweet! One definitely needs a guitar that you can take on the plane with you. Hauling that roadcase around was no fun.
